Key Responsibilities

This role serves as the initial point of contact for patients in an outpatient medical facility, greeting them, checking them in, verifying information, scheduling appointments, and updating the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Responsibilities also include facilitating intake procedures like form completion and payment collection while ensuring patient privacy and safety.

Requirements

A High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience is required, along with at least one year of recent relevant experience, which can sometimes substitute for the formal degree. Candidates must possess basic knowledge of insurance policies and patient billing, along with strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
