About the Role
Join Citizens Options Unlimited as a Camp Registered Nurse (RN) (Weekends) in United States. Overview Registered nurses work full-time on site at camp in Hunter NY. RN’s work in a complete and mutually supportive team with the Unit Heads, Cabin Counselors, Program Staff, Kitchen Staff, Administration, and Campers to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all campers and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Care Conduct routine health assessments, arrival screenings, and follow‑up on body check concerns.
- Provide first aid and nursing care for minor injuries and illnesses, documenting all care.
- Administer medications per prescribed schedules and maintain accurate medication records.
- Perform daily sick call and health checks for campers and staff.
Requirements
- New York State Professional Nursing Certification.
- Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current CPR/AED certification (Must be renewed annually in accordance with DOH regulations).
- Some experience with ID/DD population preferred.

- Full-time position.
