Key Responsibilities

The therapist will administer respiratory therapies, manage airway support, and monitor mechanical ventilation for patients in an acute care setting. They are also responsible for documenting procedures, performing diagnostic tests, and maintaining equipment according to safety standards.

Requirements

Candidates must have graduated from a COARC-approved Respiratory Care Program and hold a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential. A minimum of one year of hospital-based experience is required, along with BLS and NRP certifications.
