About the Role
Join Covenant Health as a CLIN SPEC-PHARMACIST in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge of all pharmacist activities and performs such duties as requested.
- Provide support/consultative services to physicians, nurses and other healthcare providers regarding drug therapy decisions.
- Provide comprehensive inpatient/outpatient drug therapy management through physician consult.
- Responsible for quality assessment, quality improvement, and written policies and procedures within specialty area.
Requirements
- Demonstrates knowledge and competency in providing for age-specific needs of the population served.
- Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
- Participate in community education programs to provide drug information.
- Participate in the health system employee education programs to provide drug information.
