Key Responsibilities

• To provide psychiatric services to children/adolescents in Center programs
• Expertise in the stages of development in children/adolescents
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and create tailored treatment plans.
• Evaluate effectiveness of medications(s), including side effects or lack there of
• Provide consultation to staff about medication, treatment issues, & termination of clients' treatments
• Perform mental status examination

Requirements

• EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• M. D. degree, current valid Florida medical license
• Experience with counseling/psychiatric interventions
• Because of the work we do in the community, a full background check is required for all staff.

• Child Psychiatrist – Part/Full-time
• Crisis Stabilization Unit on-call as determined by Chief Medical Officer
