Key Responsibilities

To provide psychiatric services to children/adolescents in Center programs
Expertise in the stages of development in children/adolescents
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and create tailored treatment plans.
Evaluate effectiveness of medications(s), including side effects or lack there of
Provide consultation to staff about medication, treatment issues, & termination of clients' treatments
Perform mental status examination

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
M. D. degree, current valid Florida medical license
Experience with counseling/psychiatric interventions
Because of the work we do in the community, a full background check is required for all staff.
