Key Responsibilities
- To provide psychiatric services to children/adolescents in Center programs
- Expertise in the stages of development in children/adolescents
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and create tailored treatment plans.
- Evaluate effectiveness of medications(s), including side effects or lack there of
- Provide consultation to staff about medication, treatment issues, & termination of clients' treatments
- Perform mental status examination
Requirements
- EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- M. D. degree, current valid Florida medical license
- Experience with counseling/psychiatric interventions
- Because of the work we do in the community, a full background check is required for all staff.
