Physical Therapist Assistant, Mobile Outpatient

Key Responsibilities

The assistant provides, monitors, and records therapy services to patients with physical, cognitive, or developmental impairments under the supervision of a physical therapist. This includes selecting and modifying therapeutic activities consistent with patient goals and contributing to outcome achievement through communication and documentation.

Requirements

Candidates must have the appropriate education level required for state licensure and be a graduate of an approved American Physical Therapy Association program for Physical Therapist Assistants. Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state(s) of practice and adherence to state supervision standards are mandatory, along with obtaining Basic Life Support certification within six months.
