Key Responsibilities

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant provides direct patient care under the supervision of an occupational therapist and assists with therapeutic interventions. They are also responsible for documenting patient progress, instructing families on home exercises, and maintaining a safe treatment environment.

Requirements

Candidates must be licensed and eligible to practice as a COTA in the state of service and hold a valid CPR certification. Strong communication, time management, and clinical documentation skills are required, with a preference for familiarity with electronic medical records.
