The Physical Therapist Assistant provides skilled physical therapy services in patient homes according to a plan of care developed by a Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include performing therapeutic treatments, documenting patient progress, and educating patients and families on safety and equipment use.
Candidates must hold a current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant and possess at least one year of experience in an acute setting. A valid driver's license and auto insurance are required to facilitate travel to patient homes.
