About the Role

Join Nemours Children's Health as a Occupational Therapist – Pediatrics, Weekend Rotation in United States. Nemours Children’s Health, Becks Woods is seeking an Occupational Therapist (Full-Time) to join our outpatient program in Bear, Delaware. As one of the nation’s leading pediatric health care systems, Nemours is committed to providing all children with their best chance to grow up healthy.

Key Responsibilities

provide occupational therapy for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses, ranging in age from birth to 17.

provide occupational therapy services to a variety of patient types with recognition of his/her own limitati.

provide input on new treatment intervention strategies to ensure evidenced-based and current practices.

Requirements

Completes all mandatory training; may include, but not limited to safety, infection control, corporate compliance, HIPAA, bioterrorism, CPR, and program specific respiratory training.

Participates in triage and coverage planning as necessary to meet patient care and departmental needs.

When required by assignment, participates in weekend/holiday inpatient coverage rotation, including checking the code blue cart per guideline #7980. GL.24.
