Key Responsibilities

• of the Speech Therapist are to test and measure those patients with speech, language, cognitive, hearing, and/or swallowing impairments.

• As prescribed by a referring physician, the ST evaluates, establishes a treatment plan, and treats the patients.

• The ST is mindful of the diagnosis and considers all precautions, indications and contraindications of care.

• PERFORMANCE DUTIES Provide effective, outcome related patient care demonstrated through patient/customer satisfaction and goal accomplishment.

Requirements

• SLP Certification Awarded by the American Speech Language Hearing Association C. Training and Experience Previous experience in acute care and swallow disorders is preferred but entry
