Key Responsibilities
- CLINICAL DUTIES: Optimal patient care outcomes from drug therapy are ensured through clinical pharmacy activities.
- Such activities are age appropriate for neonates, pediatric patients, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, and in direct association with or in support of health care providers.
- The pharmacist will: Demonstrate clinical competence by completing the clinical competency modules assigned in the electronic learning system for the pharmacist role.
- Review and evaluate an individual patient’s medication profile and clinical status to determine appropriateness of current medication therapy.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Licensure Current Registered Pharmacist License (RPh) for applicable state required.
- BLS for Provider certification from the American Heart Association required within 3 months.
