SECTION 2: Duties and Responsibilities Examines patient, performs comprehensive physical examination, and compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.

Treats illnesses, abscesses, skin injuries, malignancies, skin infections, and other skin conditions Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, and other procedures as appropriate.

Assists Physician(s) in surgical procedures, surgically excises cutaneous malignancies, cysts, birthmarks, and other growths, suturing, wound care, and other procedures as appropriate.

Requirements

Thorough knowledge of medical billing coding, including CPT and ICD-10 coding, required.
