Key Responsibilities

The Outpatient Pharmacist is responsible for the compounding and dispensing of prescribed pharmaceuticals under supervision, ensuring accuracy by checking all medication prior to dispensing and delivery. This role also involves supervising pharmacy staff, providing direction, coaching, and development to ensure optimal operations.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college, though an advanced degree is preferred, and must be licensed to practice pharmacy in Massachusetts by the hire date. Required experience is two to three years, with preferred experience in QS1, and the role requires comprehensive understanding of pharmacy systems and high proficiency in pharmacists' duties.
