Key Responsibilities

• Medication Verification & Dispensing Review, interpret, and verify prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and clinical appropriateness.

• Identify and resolve drug interactions, contraindications, duplication, allergies, and dosing concerns.

• Ensure accurate dispensing of medications and proper patient labeling in compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Oversee and check pharmacy technician work to ensure accuracy and quality.

Requirements

• Assist in inventory management, including ordering, storage, and monitoring for expiration and integrity.

• Professional Practice & Continuous Improvement Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for enhancing pharmacy services.
