Key Responsibilities
- Identifies "high risk" patients using a wide variety of psychosocial tools that may have impaired recovery or well-being.
- Provides counseling to patient/families using techniques to establish effective trust and rapport.
- Advocates on patient's/family's behalf for recognition of their individual needs and for necessary services to address those needs.
Requirements
- Educational Requirements.
- MSW with minimum 2 years in a health care setting LMSW, LCSW preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Position requires the ability to lift light objects, perform moderately difficult manipulative and hand-eye coordination skills.
- Social Workers are required to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods; see objects closely and hear normal sounds despite background noises.
Work Schedule
- Full-Time position.
