About the Role
Join Tampa General Hospital as a Occupational Therapist - Outpatient Hand Clinic in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- will be part of a team of PT and OT providing world class evidence-based care to patients.
- will be patients with Hand injuries/surgery and Burn injuries, but OT may be expected to work with some patients from other diagnostic/age groups to meet the operational needs of the department.
- Must have clinical knowledge and skills to work with adult and pediatric patients with Hand injuries/surgeries and Burn injuries including scar management, splinting and pressure garments In collaboration with patient and /or family member develops individualized treatment plans for each patient Collaborate within discipline and team members of other disciplines and physicians to optimize patient care Manges patient caseload and Documentation to department guidelines Stays current with evidence-bas ed practice through professional development activities as appropriate to caseload Active participation in team meetings Performs all other duties as assigned Travel may be required to meet operational needs at various locations Education: Master’s degree in occupational therapy, Certified Hand Therapist or willing complete CHT within 1 year of hire Licensure/Registration: Licensure by the State of Florida as a Occupational Therapist.
