This position qualifies for federal student loan forgiveness. After 10 years of qualifying payments while working full-time for a nonprofit employer, the remaining balance on your Direct Loans may be forgiven.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing education and counseling to patients and families in preventative care, medical conditions, and use of prescribed treatments and drugs.
  • Develop and order plans of care as appropriate.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients, families and caregivers.
  • Provide ongoing consultation and education to staff nurses, medical team and student trainees.
  • Provide consultation support to Veterans referred for Palliative Care or Geriatrics.
  • Drawing blood specimens for testing and performing other comparable lab procedures.

Requirements

  • Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • You may be required to serve a probationary period.
