About the Role

Join Rochester Regional Health as a Chemical Dependency Counselor – Inpatient Setting in United States. SUMMARY Performs all functions of counselor practice as outlined by NYS OASAS. Focus includes the development and implementation of individualized patient treatment plan with emphasis on counseling and guidance of recovery process.

Key Responsibilities

  • (15%) Works collaborative with medical team to develop treatment planning strategies.
  • (10%) Responsible for making appropriate referrals and discharge planning of patients.
  • (40%) Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records.
  • (25%) Participate in daily group counseling efforts of the unit.
