Key Responsibilities
The Speech Pathologist evaluates pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients by reviewing medical history to determine the necessity of speech, language, or oral pharyngeal intervention. If indicated, the SLP initiates the appropriate assessment and therapy as ordered by the receiving physician.
Requirements
A Master's Degree or equivalent in a Speech Language Pathology Program or Communication Disorders is required for this role. Candidates must also possess good communication, interpersonal, and excellent organizational skills, along with the ability to work independently, prioritize, and maintain confidentiality.
