About the Role
Join Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health as a Psychologist (Masters) East Coast Forensic Hospital - Mental Health & Addictions in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- will include conducting comprehensive assessment of violence risk, personality, and cognitive skills in addition to other psychological assessments (e.
-, neuropsychological screening), provision of treatment through both individual and group settings.
- Duties will also include participation in the predoctoral internship program and supervision of practicum students.
- Participation and testimony before the Criminal Code Review Board of Nova Scotia and expert witness testimony will also be required.
Requirements
- Hours Permanent full time position; 75 hours biweekly There is some flexibility to work at home for one day a week for interested candidates Free parking on site.
