The technologist performs quality imaging procedures across two modalities for ambulatory and hospital patients under the supervision of a Radiologist. They are responsible for explaining procedures to patients and ensuring diagnostic quality images are obtained for interpretation.
Candidates must hold an Associate's degree or graduate from an accredited Radiology program and possess relevant certifications such as ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB. Experience requirements range from entry-level for Technologist I to three years in a primary modality for Technologist II.
