Key Responsibilities

• Assist with written materials to support requests to city, state, and federal governments for funding of clinical, education/training and research initiatives

• Assist faculty with preparation of bisketches, CVs and Other Support documents utilizing current tools provided by funding organizations

• Ensure proposals comply with agency guidelines, formatting

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU.

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing or related field, or other equivalent experience.

• Proficiency with graphical tools for scientific figure creation (e. g., Adobe.

• Illustrator, BioRender, or similar).

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: Salary Range: $55,000 - $101,900

• PSLF eligible (Public Service Loan Forgiveness).

Work Schedule

• Full-Time position.

• Hybrid position - combination of remote and on-site.
