About the Role

Join Urban Resource Institute (URI) as a Social Worker - Homeless Families in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate existing, new and prospective clients/families referred by NYC Department of Homeless Services.
  • Develops individual living plans (ILPs) for families including all adults and children in the family composition and provides therapeutic support as needed.
  • Responsible for the clinical supervision of Case Managers.
  • Conducts clinical case conferences with clients in collaboration with internal staff and external providers for compliance with individual living plan goals and to address unmet needs.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary range: $59,000 to $59,000 annually.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • Call responsibilities required.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited university, coupled with three years of experience working specifically with the homeless population. Required experience also includes demonstrated sensitivity to diverse populations and familiarity with Department of Homeless Services (DHS) regulations and reporting.
