Evenings Emergency Department Pharmacist

This Pharmacy position at IU Health is open to pharmacist candidates.

Pharmacists are expanding beyond traditional dispensing roles into clinical consulting, medication management, and remote pharmacy services.

This position is based in Carmel, Indiana.

Key skills and qualifications: Pharmacotherapy Support, Medication Reconciliation, Clinical Decision-Making, Emergency Response, Medication Dosing, Pharmacokinetics, Antimicrobial Stewardship, Patient Counseling. Candidates with experience in these areas may be especially well-suited for this Pharmacy role.

Core responsibilities: Provide real-time clinical pharmacy support and medication management for high-acuity patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department. Participate in critical emergency responses including Code Blue, stroke alerts, and trauma activations.
