Requirements

Participate in local disaster training exercises as directed by the Chief of Medical Staff or MTF Commander; responds to real-world disaster situations.

Coordinate with local, state, and county medical emergency personnel to deliver primary care following the assigned facility’s Medical Contingency Response Plan (MCRP).

Participate in a rotating call schedule, averaging one week every six weeks, during which the member will hold the designated call phone for Active-Duty death notifications.

Such notifications are infrequent and will occur only on rare occasions.
