About the Role

Join Sonora Behavioral Health as a Inpatient Social Worker – Behavioral Health in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and plan programs and activities to meet patient’s social and emotional needs.
  • Promote recovery, symptom reduction and the achievement of the highest level of social functioning.
  • Provides crisis management and family sessions to assist the family in understanding the implications and complexities of a life situation and its impact on lifestyle.

Requirements

  • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university, including new graduate required.
  • One or more years’ experience working with patient population preferred.
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
