EM, Neurosurgery & Surgery Physician Assistant-13001-018

The provider evaluates and treats patients with medical and/or surgical problems under the general supervision of a licensed physician, performing histories, physical exams, and interpreting diagnostic tests as per the scope of practice. This role also involves participation in teaching and quality assurance activities within the clinical department while delivering direct patient care.

Candidates must complete a NYS-approved Physician Assistant training program, possess a valid New York State license and registration, and hold certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or equivalent. Additional requirements include DEA registration, current Infection Control certification, basic MS Office skills, high analytical ability, and physical capability for patient handling.
