About the Role

Join YMCA of Greater Cleveland Recruitment Team as a SUD Counselor in United States. Y-Haven provides temporary housing and drug and alcohol treatment to adults in Cuyahoga County who are most in need. Formed in 1993 by the YMCA of Greater Cleveland, Y-Haven has helped thousands recover from addiction, secure permanent housing, and re-build their lives.

Key Responsibilities

Provide individual counseling, group counseling and case management services to individuals with Substance U.

Provide individual counseling, outpatient group counseling, intensive outpatient group counseling, and case.

Provide individual counseling and case management to a case load of program participants.

Coordinate with Clinical Director on all critical clinical issues.

Requirements

High school diploma required

Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree based on license and experience level. Experience:

Must have at least 2 years’ experience in SUD Counseling or Social Work. Certification(s) & Requirements:

Must be free from sanctions or exclusions from the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) and the State of Ohio Department of Medicaid. Technical Skills and Knowledge:
