About the Role

Join RiseWell Community Services as a Peer Counselor (SKM Residence) in United States.

Key Responsibilities

provide peer services in the Sunken Meadow Residence.

provide a positive role model of community functioning, informal counseling, peer support and ADL training i.

provide those in recovery from serious mental illness a safe, reliable home with on-site support.

Requirements

Personal experience with mental health and/or substance abuse issues.

Ability and desire to assist others in mastery of independent living skills.

Understanding of peer support self-help philosophy.

Clean, valid driver’s license, Fingerprinting, Criminal record check, Approval from NYS Office of Mental Health.
