Key Responsibilities

Assesses pain that interferes with function or rehabilitation participation and notify the physician for appropriate intervention.

Performs arterial punctures to obtain ABG samples; recognize potential complications and contraindications.

Performs EKGs, document/report results per department procedure, route to requesting providers, and file reports appropriately.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Graduate of an AMA

approved School of Respiratory Therapy

Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist

CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.

Work Schedule

Per Diem position.

No explicit call, weekend, or night shift information provided.
