Key Responsibilities

Participate in the formulation of patient Master Treatment Plan
Communicate with physicians and other staff as necessary to provide quality care for patient within appropriate guidelines.
Provide services that are in accordance with the state guidelines for Nurse Practitioners.

Requirements

Chart clinical observation (direct or through dictation), evaluations and treatment of patient in required time according to facility guidelines.
Master's in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner program required.
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Practicing Nurse Practitioner preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner required.
Licensed to practice in the state in which the facility operates.

Benefits & Compensation

Location: West Pines Behavioral Health Hospital, 11455 Huron Street, Westminster, CO 80234
Compensation: $85 per patient visit; $300 per on-call shift.
Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team.
Assess physical and psychiatric health of patient and formulate measures to meet patient needs.
May focus on health promotion and disease prevention. May order, perform or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays. May prescribe medication.
Compensation: $85 per patient visit; $300 per on-call shift

Work Schedule

Employment Status: Full-Time, 1099 Contractor
Schedule: Mon-Fri, flexible schedule during business hours plus on-call
