About the Role

Waukesha County's Department of Health & Human Services is recruiting an LTE Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join the pool nursing team in the Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Use Services Clinic. This is a part-time role working 24 hours per week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing support for clients receiving psychiatric prescribing services.
Administer injectable psychotropic medications.
Conduct vitals assessment, health education, urine drug screens.
Coordinate with pharmacies and psychiatric prescribers.
Perform order entry and triage client inquiries.

Requirements

Graduation from a recognized registered nursing program.
Current Wisconsin RN license or temporary permit with license attainment within 6 months.
Alternatively, may underfill as Licensed Practical Nurse with appropriate licensure.
