Requirements

include: Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required.

Certificate of Clinical Competence and Current License to practice Speech Language Therapy in the state of AL required.

Previous experience as a pediatric SLP required, with a minimum of five years of practice as an SLP preferred.

Previous experience in the evaluation, delivery, and treatment involving AAC.

Benefits & Compensation

Reviews plan with parents, establishes visit frequency, discusses progress, planned discharge and next series to promote maximum independence outside of the clinic.

Evaluates, recommends and integrates augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and assistive technology (AT) into intervention to enhance communication and independence.

Manages schedule efficiently including re-scheduling visits and proactively identifying opportunities to maximize appointments daily/weekly/monthly.

Work Schedule

Full-time position.

No weekends required.
