Requirements
- include: Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence and Current License to practice Speech Language Therapy in the state of AL required.
- Previous experience as a pediatric SLP required, with a minimum of five years of practice as an SLP preferred.
- Previous experience in the evaluation, delivery, and treatment involving AAC.
Benefits & Compensation
- Reviews plan with parents, establishes visit frequency, discusses progress, planned discharge and next series to promote maximum independence outside of the clinic.
- Evaluates, recommends and integrates augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and assistive technology (AT) into intervention to enhance communication and independence.
- Manages schedule efficiently including re-scheduling visits and proactively identifying opportunities to maximize appointments daily/weekly/monthly.
Work Schedule
- Full-time position.
- No weekends required.
