About the Role

Join Texas Health Action as a Clinical Volunteer - Lab in Austin, Texas, United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing specimens for transport pickup Organizing and restocking lab supplies (swabs, gloves, vials, etc.
  • ) Pre-labeling and preparing specimen collection kits Assisting with inventory and expiration checks Cleaning and disinfecting lab counters and equipment areas Supporting administrative tasks (e.
  • Perform operations duties during hours of operation and/or in field operations.

Requirements

  • Education and/or Licensure High School diploma or GED required.
  • Experience Working knowledge of infection control and universal precautions.
  • Experience and comfort in issues related to substance use, harm reduction, homelessness, mental health, and LGBTQIA+ communities.
  • Additional Requirements Experience in a laboratory or medical setting a plus.
