About the Role

Join United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) as a PRN Pharmacist – Hospital Setting in United States. Community Hospital is hiring a PRN Pharmacist! We’re offering an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dedicated, compassionate team – where you are valued just as much as the patients we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interprets medication orders (verbal and written) and transcribes to computerized patient medication profiles accurately. Maintains accurate, complete patient medication profiles.
  • Monitors medication therapy regimens for contraindications, interactions, allergies and appropriateness of medication and dose.
  • Ensures safe, appropriate, cost effective medication therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Supervises and directs daily activities of pharmacy technicians.

Requirements

  • Licensure as a Registered Pharmacist by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy required.
  • Certificate as a preceptor by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy after one year of licensure preferred.
  • Education: Undergraduate pharmacy degree (Bachelor of Science) or Pharm. D preferred.
  • One (1) year experience in a hospital pharmacy preferred.

Work Schedule

  • Per Diem position.
  • No explicit call, weekend, or night shift information provided.
