About the Role

Join United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) as a PRN Pharmacist – Hospital Setting in United States. Community Hospital is hiring a PRN Pharmacist! We’re offering an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dedicated, compassionate team – where you are valued just as much as the patients we serve.

Key Responsibilities

Interprets medication orders (verbal and written) and transcribes to computerized patient medication profiles accurately. Maintains accurate, complete patient medication profiles.

Monitors medication therapy regimens for contraindications, interactions, allergies and appropriateness of medication and dose.

Ensures safe, appropriate, cost effective medication therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.

Supervises and directs daily activities of pharmacy technicians.

Requirements

Licensure as a Registered Pharmacist by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy required.

Certificate as a preceptor by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy after one year of licensure preferred.

Education: Undergraduate pharmacy degree (Bachelor of Science) or Pharm. D preferred.

One (1) year experience in a hospital pharmacy preferred.

Work Schedule

Per Diem position.

No explicit call, weekend, or night shift information provided.
