The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for planning and administering speech therapy services to a diverse patient population including cardiac, neurologic, and pulmonary cases. They must collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop care plans and educate patients and families on diet modifications.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in speech-language pathology and possess a valid NYS SLP license and registration. Previous hospital experience, specifically with trach/vent populations and Modified Barium Swallow studies, is required.
