- Facilitate play therapy sessions with children to address and treat emotional, developmental, and behavioral concerns, using play as a primary communication and intervention tool.
- Document therapy sessions, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in accordance with ethical standards and legal regulations, ensuring all records are accurate and timely.
- Encourage proactive mental health and emotional well
- being through regular sessions, developmental screenings, and educational resources to help prevent future emotional and behavioral issues.
Requirements
- LCPC, LCSCW, or LCMFT
- Valid license to practice in Kansas.
- Active Basic Life Support Certification.
- Valid Mental Health First Aid Certification (completed upon hire).
