About the Role

Join Everent Health & Affiliates as a Inpatient Social Worker in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • will be a part of a team providing care and support to patients and their families who no longer receive treatments to cure their terminal illness but instead choose care to improve their comfort and quality of life.
  • provide care at nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals.
  • provide care at one of our Hospice Care Centers.
  • develop professionally, and to work in a team environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of social service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Experience working within an interdisciplinary team is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the process of death, dying, and bereavement.
  • Understanding of the psychosocial and legal considerations affecting terminally ill patients and their families.
  • Knowledge of interpersonal dynamics within interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • No weekends required.
