Key Responsibilities

The Physician Medical Director will provide direct medical care to inmates and oversee the clinical management of the medical health program. They are responsible for supervising medical staff, ensuring compliance with NCCHC/ACA standards, and collaborating with pharmacy services.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine with a valid Maryland medical license. Board certification or eligibility, current DEA registration, and active BLS certification are required.
