Key Responsibilities

• Conducts internal inventory of controlled drug stock, as assigned.
• Oversees the work performed by pharmacy technicians and directs workflow as demanded by workload.
• Assesses patient's medication profile for drug sensitivities, incompatibilities, allergies or drug interactions.
• Accurately performs cart checks.

• Comply with all VHA and DEA policies and regulations to assure strict drug accountability
• Ensures strict accountability of high risk, high cost drugs required to be maintained via a perpetual inventory.
