SUMMARY The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner performs psychiatric assessments as needed and participates in the ongoing treatment of clients. The Psychiatric NP will start on a part-time productivity arrangement and may develop into a full-time position upon successful performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• 2(r). Fee for service. Performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Requires possession of a certificate as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from the State of Arizona.

• Candidates with 3 years post-graduation clinical experience.

• KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES Ability to perform a complete psychiatric evaluation, including medical symptoms, history and treatment that may be related to psychiatric symptomatology.

• Demonstrable knowledge of all psychotropic medications that currently have general acceptance for use in psychiatry.

Work Schedule

• Part-Time position.

• Weekend coverage may be required.
