Key Responsibilities
- Prescribe in accordance with approved treatment protocols and the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee approved medications and immunizations.
- Perform specific diagnostic and therapeutic practices and procedures in accordance with scope of practice.
- Attend staff meetings to provide case discussion, continuing education, and continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
- Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Experience: Minimum of 36 months experience in the last 48 months. Must meet clinical competency requirements specified in the service
- Certification: National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Additional Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS). American Heart Association or American Red Cross
