Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Social Worker interviews and evaluates patients and families to determine social, emotional, and economic factors affecting medical care, developing and implementing social work treatment plans utilizing community resources. This role involves providing psycho-social therapy, coordinating with other disciplines, interpreting psycho-social aspects during team conferences, and assisting with discharge planning.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree from an Accredited School of Social Work and demonstrate skills in patient assessment, intervention, planning, and evaluation, along with independent decision-making abilities. Required qualifications also include experience with regulatory reporting for abuse, a valid California Driver’s License, and knowledge of managed care and government payment requirements.
