Key Responsibilities

The Interventional Radiologist performs minimally invasive, image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures across inpatient and outpatient settings. They also provide clinical consultations, participate in multidisciplinary conferences, and ensure high-quality patient care and safety standards.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Radiology residency and an ACGME-accredited Interventional Radiology fellowship. Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Radiology and an unrestricted medical license in Virginia are required.
