Key Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist evaluates, treats, and cares for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders, practicing under the direction of a physician. This role involves providing bedside respiratory care to assigned patients based on physician's written orders for both in-house and out-patient care.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of clinical rotations from an accredited respiratory practitioner program and hold a Registered Respiratory Therapist license for the State of Florida and a BLS for Healthcare Providers certification upon hire. An Associate's Degree in Respiratory care is required, or a Certificate of Completion in Respiratory is preferred.
