About the Role

Join Acadia as a Speech Therapist *Contract* in United States. Vantage Point Behavioral Health Hospital is hiring a Speech Therapist to be a part of our fast-paced and dedicated, innovative team. This position is a 1099 Contractor role.

Requirements

  • Must maintain current professional liability (malpractice) insurance and provide proof of coverage.
  • Must maintain all required Arkansas licensure, certifications, and continuing education necessary to perform services.
  • Operates as an independently established professional and retains control over the manner and means of performing services, subject to applicable clinical, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
  • Is not eligible for employee.

  • Is solely responsible for all federal and Arkansas state taxes, including self‑employment taxes.
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Evaluate patients’ levels of speech, language or swallowing difficulty and identify treatment options.
  • Create and carry out an individualized treatment plan that addresses patient specific functional needs.
