Key Responsibilities

• ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provides primary,, urgent or specialty care to all patients in accordance with the physician’s medical specialty.

• Develops a plan of care for each patient, including: complete medical history, physical examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment and/or referral, including hospitalization when necessary.

• On rotational basis, serves as the on-call physician when the NEMS clinic is not open.

Requirements

• Documents electronically with NEMS EHR system.

• Attends all medical staff meeting and participates in the community health center’s Quality Assurance program.

• Complies with all state and federal mandated regulations Assists in the training of para-professional and non-medical personnel.
