Key Responsibilities

  • and Responsibilities Seeks and obtains sufficient information necessary to function effectively.
  • Provides individual patient/client services and determines priority needs for speech language by: Assessing and evaluating therapeutic, rehabilitative and functional status.
  • Identifying functional speech defects, potential for rehabilitation and evaluating the home environment.
  • Evaluating the need for and recommending communication devices and/or aides.

Requirements

  • Vision and Hearing capabilities within normal limits, with or without aid.
  • Ability to frequently lift and or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift or move 100 pound or more if applicable.
  • Ability to perform the anticipated level of physical assist required to provide safe client care.
