The hospitalist provides comprehensive medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients within the hospital setting. They also coordinate care, provide subspecialty consultations, and ensure effective communication between the medical team, patients, and families.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited ACGME Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program. They are required to be Board Certified or Board Prepared and hold or be eligible for a Minnesota medical license and DEA certification.
