About the Role

Join Yale New Haven Health as a Mental Health Worker - PES - 12 Hour Days (7A-7P) Weekend Rotation in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Provides individualized patient care to ensure the safety and dignity of the patient.

1 Follows the patient care plan preserving patients' safety, dignity and autonomy.

Assists the nursing staff to maintain a therapeutic milieu to support safety, care and treatment on the unit.

1 Initiates patient activities and social interactions in individual and group situations/settings consistent with the individual.

Requirements

EDUCATION Graduation from high school supplemented by at least two (2) years of college; Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE A minimum of one (1) year experience in a psychiatric facility, i.

-, an inpatient unit or an outpatient psychiatric clinic.

SPECIAL SKILLS Ability to deal effectively with agitated or violent patients.

Work Schedule

Full-Time position.

Weekend coverage may be required.
